A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School previously housed in an outdated 1950's inner city structure , is one of the top rated magnet schools in the state of Georgia. In a Phase 3 process, Studio 3 Design Group designed the new main school, auditorium, and gymnasium. Phase 4 is the addition of more classrooms, science labs, and the new S.T.E.A.M room which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The S.T.E.A.M room supports the schools initiative of multidisciplinary learning using the latest technology and equipment. It includes a robotics lab, fabrication equipment, art space, lecture space.
